Hi, there got a samsung tv q7f qled, and i was using smartthings to control the tv but i cant use smartthings app because it doesnot respond even though its connected. It only responds few apps and on and off.

      Have you tried removing the device from smartthings and reconnecting it? Or do a full restart of the TV?

      Yes i did, non of it works. Its weird because i can still use it on an iPhone but not on my galaxy s25ultra.

      That is strange.... suggest to also do the following:

      - Ensure both the TV and the SmartThings app are updated to the latest versions. Outdated software can cause compatibility issues.
      - Restart both the TV and your mobile device. A simple restart can often resolve temporary glitches.
      - Check your network connection. Ensure both the TV and your device are on the same Wi-Fi network and that the connection is stable. 
      - Reset SmartThings on your TV. You can usually find this option in the TV's settings under General > Smart Features or similar. This will require re-adding the TV to the app.

      Hopefully one of these can help

      I've really tried these things that you listed but its still the same. I think theres something wrong with the app itself. I am really confused because everything works with an iPhone not on my phone s25ultra.

      Yes that is so strange as it is a Samsung TV too. I would lodge an enquiry to the app developers (thought google play or galaxy store) and see if they had other users who had same issue

      Hi Srizan, your problem with SmartThings app on your S25U not being able to control your Samsung Smart TV does sound strange.

      Coincidentally I just connected my S23U via SmartThings app a few days to my 2018 Samsung Q8 curved tv and it works fine.

      What version of SmartThings app are you currently running ? Mine is Version 1.8.34.21.1754364245828.jpg

      Yes mine is the same version, and my TV is Q7F qled 4k 2025. But IDK it doesnot make sense to me. It was running okay and suddenly i can't touch the screen while im running smart things app for the connected tv.1754364430075.jpg
