Am I the only one incredibly frustrated by how notifications work on Galaxy devices right now?
If I am busy or simply swipe away notifications that I'm not interested in, the apps just push the exact same notifications back onto my screen 15 minutes later!!! It turns the notification panel into an absolute mess.
If a user explicitly swipes an alert away, the phone should respect that choice! Right now, apps are completely exploiting a system loophole to clutter our screens and pester us repeatedly.
How Samsung can fix this in One UI:
If Google won't fix this in base Android, Samsung needs to step up. They could easily introduce a toggle in our Advanced Notification settings feature called "Enforced Dismiss". This would block any app from resending identical notification data wonce a user has manually cleared it.
Please LIKE this post and comment below if you want Samsung to build this feature! Let's get enough traction and upvotes so the community managers escalate this straight to the One UI software development team.

Looks like a dodgy app you're using, I've used numerous apps and never had this issue. Which app is causing you this issue?

I've also never encountered this issue in all the years of using Samsung Galaxy phones; by any chance, do you have the setting "repeat notification alerts" toggled on in settings?

I was wondering if you had "continue on another device" turned on, thus transferring unread notifications to another device when you change from one to the other. In my devices I have to turn off or read notifications on both devices. Had to cancel this feature because a massive number of urls were transferred to the device I changed to.
