Hi Dennis, try to save the multimedia in the SD card. If phone memory is still full and you have less apps, then the device may have a corrupted memory. Therefore, we would recommend to format the phone but make sure to back up the important data first.

Hi Dennis, yes as long as the OS is not compromised, reformat will restore to default.
