Since a day, encountering a small black dot in the focus of selfie camera, initially thought it as a smear, but persisting inspite of lens cleaning in both camera and video mode of front camera, any suggestions

if its a software issue try restarting the phone if it doesnt work the lense may be damaged, clean it reaal good and if that doesnt work, take it to a service center, it might need a replacement

Black dots in camera is most probably due to damage in the camera sensor. Camera replacement is the solution. If the phone is under warranty, take it to an authorised service centre.
