Overheating

Overheating — especially with minimal usage — is definitely not what you'd expect from a flagship device.

Several users have reported similar concerns, especially in outdoor environments or during high temperatures. Keep in mind:

Weather conditions can greatly impact device temperature, particularly with direct sunlight.

Even in idle mode, background apps, location services, or sync activities can trigger heating.

Recent software updates (like One UI 6.1/7.0) may still be optimizing in the background, especially after a fresh setup or update.


Quick suggestions:

1. Ensure your device is updated to the latest software patch. Samsung often rolls out thermal optimization fixes.


2. Go to Battery & Device Care > Battery > Background Usage Limits, and restrict unused apps.


3. Use Battery Saver Mode in high heat environments.


4. Avoid using camera, maps, or 5G for long periods in direct sunlight.
